During the FiFA World Cup Football Finals, My friend Pamir wrote a facebook status. It was ”Best Or Nothing!” I did not agree with it that time. Wrote most of this post that time. But I have not published this. So, now I am doing it.
Nothing :
Does it mean, if I don’t have the cup, it means I have nothing ? Everyone in this world knows, there is only one Worldcup. So, only one team will get it. And others will have nothing. Really ??
Being the Best :
What is “Best” ? Does holding the Cup means, I am the best ?
204 countries plays in World Cup Football (that is called Qualifying Round). From that 204 only 32 teams reach Finals. Only One team becomes the world champion. Teams like Ivory Coast plays the game to be in the 2nd rounds. Japan/Korea’s target is the quarter finals. When the reach their own target, they play better then other teams who has not reach the target yet.
In the football world cup, everyone has their own goals. That’s should be the plan.
To The Point :
When we see, we can not become the best in a field. We stop working for that goal, and stop walking on that field. We have to come out from “Best or Nothing !” type of ideology. We should divide the goals in to small targets. Have to reach those small targets first. That should be the plan. That’s how we should dream to reach what is beyond us.
